Do You Need a Really Big Flag?
Hot Talk 560 KSFO is making our big American flag available for use by Bay Area non-profit organizations. No, not THAT flag. This star spangled banner is 60 by 40 feet and would be a great addition to any parade!!
A minimum of fifty people would be necessary to respectfully and safely carry this flag in a parade. The flag has grommets around its perimeter and can be hung from a stage backdrop. The flag weighs approximately 80 pounds.
KSFO is making the banner available on a limited basis to Bay Area non-profit organizations.
The flag will be lent for up to three days of use to non-profit organizations with proof of 501 B 3 status, a $500 deposit and the promise to acknowledge KSFO Radio at the event the flag is used.
The flag must be picked up at KSFO Radio studios in San Francisco. Or it can be delivered and picked up for a $100 fee (paid in advance) within fifty miles of KSFO studios (900 Front Street, CA 94111) Locations further away are subject to additional fees.
Damage to the flag, including any soiling will be deducted from the deposit.
Any request for use of the flag should be submitted in writing a minimum of 30 days in advance of the event and include the name of the event or description, approximate attendance, the name of the non-profit, a contact and that person’s address, telephone numbers and e-mail address.
Acceptance of a request for the flag’s use will require the requesting organization to submit a deposit (via check) and any applicable shipping fee within five business days of KSFO’s notice of acceptance.
