START DATE: Immediately
Responsibilities:
Prospect, develop and generate marketing solutions for customers on Northern California’s talk radio leader. This opportunity also includes digital advertising, Station Events and Non-Traditional Revenue Opportunities
Abilities
Develop new business Create strategic partnerships
Make face-to-face sales calls Manage account list
Prioritize work assignments Meet deadline and sales goals
Deal effectively with other station departments
Training will be provided immediately to include prospecting, cold calling, sales presentations, negotiation and closing skills, media knowledge, sports, event and
web sales, and coverage of topics such as agency strategy and client level selling.
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years Outside Sales Experience
- Business, Marketing or Broadcasting Degree preferable
- Word, Excel, Power Point proficiency—Tapscan (a plus)
- Excellent Verbal, Written & Organizational skills
- Must own personal car
